'n Onderwerp wat al hoe meer aktueel word: ge-assisteerde selfmoord in die gevalle waar terminaal siek pasiente en ander lydendes met behulp van 'n mediese prakisyn die reg op 'n "waardige" dood gegun moet word. Hierdie Helpende Woord sal uiteraard nie op al die aspekte rondom hierdie verskynsel kan ingaan nie, maar kortliks aan gelowiges 'n hoopvolle Bybelse perspektief op die onderwerp gee.   

A theme that is becoming increasingly topical: assisted suicide in cases where terminally ill patients and other suffering people should be granted the right to a "dignified" death with the help of a medical practitioner. This Helping Word will obviously not be able to address all the aspects surrounding this phenomenon, but will briefly give believers a Biblical and hopeful perspective on the subject.
