Eerskomende Sondag, 28 Februarie, herdenk ons weer die slag van Majuba waarin die Transvaalse Republiek in 1881 hulle vryheid op luisterryke van die Britse Empaaier herwin het. Na die slag het Paul Kruger geskryf: “Dit is God die Here wat julle gehelp het. Hy het groot dinge aan ons gedoen!” Vandag dien ons steeds dieselfde God wat in staat is om “groot dinge” aan en vir ons te doen.
