God se sin vir rigting

Ons lees in Eksodus 13:17 dat die HERE met die uittog uit Egipteland nie op die korter makliker pad na die Beloofde Land gelei het nie, maar op 'n langer woestynpad. So is dit dikwels in die gelowige se lewe ook dat die Here hom op 'n pad vol beproewinge lei, op pad waar hy of sy gebrei word sodat hy eendag opgewasse sal wees vir 'n groter taak.
